a roll of honour : 1987-2005

Cassie and Selwyn Tillett, who are responsible for the whole effort (Cassie since 1987, and Selwyn since their marriage in 1995) owe a huge debt of gratitude to the forty-plus performers, plus special guests, listed below.  Whether they have taken part in one concert or twenty (the current record is held by Zoë White, with 36 concerts since she joined us in 1993!), their dedication, professionalism and generosity with their time and talent is matched only by their sense of fun.  Repaid only with expenses, food and wine, every last one of them has helped to make our concerts so enjoyable - and of such a high standard.

Many of the performers earn their living with their musical talents; others, like Cassie and Selwyn, are enthusiastic amateurs.  We are proud to have worked with performers who have graced the stages of the Royal Albert Hall, Glyndebourne and the English National Opera, to name but a few; appearances on television and radio; made professional recordings.  However, we are all "amateurs" in the old-fashioned sense of the word - we all perform for love of our music.
