The performance was preceded by a Patronal Festival Eucharist in St Margaret's Church, including performances by Joanna (Gounod's O Divine Redeemer) and Liz & Camilla (Qui tollis peccata mundi from Rossini's Petite Messe Solonelle). The concert was very well attended, with the parlour at Morton Hall being full to capacity, wonderful food and drink, a lovely enthusiastic audience and some stunning performances from our friends. Over £500 was raised for Weston Longville church, and an additional £120 from the collection at the Eucharist, which will be donated to two musical charities (to be confirmed).
