Reviews from Savoynet

"The performance itself by Chimes Musical Theatre... was lots of fun. Performed with minimal costumes and scenery, and several roles doubled, it nevertheless gave a good idea of the strength of their hypothesis. With the roles taken by professionals and strong amateurs, it was about as good an account of THESPIS as I've seen. Tillett and Spencer intend to publish their version, and based on this hearing it certainly deserves a full production."  Marc Shepherd - New York, NY

"The performance that followed was in many ways well done; most of the singing and acting by the small company ... was quite well done, some of it of a high order indeed. Although not a fully finished presentation, accompanied only by piano with some pre-recorded orchestral music, it was sufficient to demonstrate their theories." Bruce I. Miller - Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
